Just awful. So bad you won’t want to try the regular version. It prompts you to buy each time you load a song. A 10 song algum gets you 10 pauses and prompts to buy...

After a few number of editions the app stops working and asks to buy a full-version paying a monthly subscription.

This app is usless. I downloaded the free version to test before buying it. I loaded a .m4a file. Missing was the genre and cover, all other information was complete. The app was not able to show any of the missing data. So I started a new test. I just copied the file and saved it under the folder “unknown albums”. I clicked “Actions” then “load tags: from path”. The app changed the album name to “unknown album” which is correct. Now i clicked again “Actions” then “load tags: from network”, the result is: Nothing. I repeated the same with “load tags: advanced” and chose all options. Same result: Nothing. I tried this wih many songs and the result is no change in genre at all. It keeps what I saved. Though I deleted the genre to blank, the app was not able to fill this missing. Also this app takes ages to load a file. It seems that it scan the file while loading. This is bad, since I want to load all my files and decide which ones I want to scan first, i.e. opening files without scanning them first. No lyrics functionality. I found out other free apps that offer more functionalities than this one, such as Kid3

The app is super slow to load even 15 mp3 in one go. What’s worse, after a few edits, it will nag you to death to get the paid version. Deleteded it after it got too annoying.

I love this application. Simple. Clean. functional. My request is an advanced search, like SublimeText has. Something with Regular Expressions.

I edit podcasts for a living and have used many ID3 taggers - this is by far the best and i won’t be switching again.

Nice clean easy to use interface. Takes a long time to process files. Sometimes crashes on certain files. No error message so can’t figure out exaclty what the problem is, just terminates. Fills in Album Artist with album name, not artist name. Have to manually delete.

It is a ncie piece of software, but there is no way this is worth $30 subscription per year. It also nags constantly to the point of being unusable. To tag one album I had to dismiss the nagging 7 times. Somewhat excessive. If you don’t mind the price this is nicely done application. Oh, it gets album cover art wrong most of the time, so add manually.

This is a decent mp3 tagging app. Definitely not as feature-rich as many offerings on Windows, but it does get the job done. The real problem with this app is that the “Free” version is nothing but annoyware. It CONSTANTLY wants you to “subscribe” for a monthly or yearly subscription wich is completely insane. If you opt for the pre-paid version, they want $35 which, again, is crazy for an app with such a basic featureset. If this was a $4.99 paid app - It would be a no-brainer. But this isn’t a sophisticated enough piece of software to warrent a subscription and the cost of the pre-paid version is just too much of a barrier for what you are getting.

The app installed alright and does work However, the program provides only basic features. The reason for 1-star? I tried the free version. When processing files, it stops after every 3rd file it loads and pesters users to buy a subscription. EVERY THREE FILES! Useless… Plus, $5.99 per month is quite steep.

if you really want to waste your time and money , this is the best app. Even after purchasing it is still slow , and cannot recognize at least 70-80% of music tags. it doesnt worth even for free.

This what I was looking for and I found it! It allow you to edit info of mp3 songs like text sheet Awesome and simple!!!! Love IT!!!

After first use asking purchase license for every fourth opened music file. Looks like a scum.

All of the 1 star reviews are right! it also screwed up my library… splitting up songs from the same albums as if they were from seperate artists.

I have been using the excellent mp3tag Windows program with WINE. It has many features. This particular app lacks every one of those features. When I opened a folder full of MP3s and tried to quit the app when I saw it was useless, it resaved some of the files even though I clicked dont save. I had to force quit to preven any further damage. Yet another crappy app that cant compare to the many free programs available for Windows. The Apple emperor is wearing no clothes…

1.) During the import of a file with no tags, the program assumes that the tag information is in the files name with a certain pattern. It is not changeable so if you have a lot of files with not tags or you want to get the tags from a file name, you have not contol on the pattern. 2.) The is no rules based search and replace. I like version / edit information in the title field to have [] instead of (). 3.) The UI and implementation is very nice and easy to use but again it is basic. For example, I could not see how to add a field to the tag. So because of this, I feel the cost is WAY too high for such basic editor. Thanks for the try before you buy.
